Hey Kent- quick question from the minutes. What does it mean to "throw out the low points pace for each racer"?

Kyle, it was suggested that a racers lowest points for a race be discarded. This idea did not have much interest because if it were to be implimented it could inadervantly cause a racer to lose the championship. For example, if I threw out my low points race (30 points) and trailed you by 10 points, and you had to throw out your worse race, which might be 51 points, I pass you in points due to that rule, costing you the championship. That is the downside to the idea of throwing out the low points race for each racer.

Again, the idea did NOT have much interest, it was just an idea trying to help racers with lower points. But as I demonstrated above, it could negatively impact better racers unintentionally.

Erinn and I were the only ones that showed up for the January meeting but that's OK (Seahawks Game). I filled him in what's going on but no formal meeting was held. We should be OK for now and hope everyone shows up for the February 10th meeting.
