| Hey guys! Heard about the whole car club challenge from Chris (Pale Rider). Picked up an 07 Mustang GT this June after life with a "family" cars for the last umpteen years. Havent had so much fun with a car in quite awhile..well Chris did let me drive his Magnum...  Been a car guy for a long time and talking with Chris about cars and drag racing has gotten the bug going. First time racing was back in 1984 with my new 83 Z28 ...had a whopping 145 hp, a 5 speed and 3:73s turned a whopping 16.2 ...yawn. Then sprung in 1988 for a 1987 Buick Regal T-type, a turbocharged intercooled "family" sedan which turned in 14.5s all stock, surprised alot of people back then. Got married and had a kid, sold the Buick and drove this and that over the years. Kids in college now and I turned 50 so time for some fun again! Going to the CCCA dyno day...shooting for some track time next season. | |
