Some basic rules of participation. PLEASE READ THEM AND FOLLOW THEM.
First, to participate on the bbs you must register. In order to register successfully you must enter a valid email address and new adds will also need to respond to an email from me that you are a real person and a participant or planning to be if it's not clear to me on your registration. It is also highly recommended that when you register you do not register with a public email address (hotmail, yahoo, gmail some examples). This is done to keep all unknowns of the bbs to keep spammers out and they are by far the largest segment of new account requests made. Visual confirmation methods are used for registration now as well. Make sure you enter the email address correctly as well or it will bounce and you will not be able to activate your bbs registration. Also there may be notices sent out to the bbs membership when needed, if your email address is incorrect you will not receive what may be an important notice regarding a schedule change or something of equal importance. Be assured your email address will not be sold or given out to third parties for the purpose of spamming, etc and you can choose to hide it from public view in your profile. Encourage your team members to get signed up on the BBS. The more people that we hear from the better the series can be.
Since the intention of this board is for communication of CCCA series participants we require that you utilize your real name in your signature stored in your profile and if you have one already please also include your CCCA Competition number. This is for two reasons, first, so that we know who we're talking to since we all race together and many of us know each other already or know of each other. Second, because this isn't a place for anonimity because that usually leads to poor behavior online and this isn't simply an online community. Anon trouble makers will be dealt with, deleted, banned, etc. The idea is to keep constructive communication open.
Have fun here and enjoy the new site.
